What? I'm actually blogging...

Hello.. If I have any readers still.. I realize that it has been almost two months since I've blogged last. Honestly, I didn't realize how busy I was going to get slash I haven't really sat down and blogged. I really do love blogging, and I hope that I will get better at being consistent. People cough cough (Austin and my mom) told me I'm a good writer and this is just a way for me to express my feelings. Instead of updating it every Sunday, I'm going to update whenever I want. Anywho...

College:
It's going really well! I am enjoying my time here at Emporia. My sorority is making it easy to get involved and keeping me very busy. Plus work, homework, and clubs keep me on my toes as well. Also, I find myself socializing all the time. My roommate and I get along really well, and we have a good time joking around or having deep conversations. To get more detailed, what has happened lately.

Sorority life: I had mom days, I had an informal dance, I took an impulse trip to First Council  Casino, I've met and have gotten close to many girls in my class, I carved pumpkins, worked a haunted trail, have had formal dinners every Tuesday night, had Big- Little reveal, had a crazy homecoming week (Yell like Hell, trycicle races (WHICH CHI OMEGA WON), parade (which I was in), and probably a lot more. So sure is keeping me busy and was one of the best decisions I've made yet.

Academics: All A's and one B! YAY. I've written too many papers.. I don't even want to talk about it, but I haven't scored lower than a 96%! I should tell Mr. Frye, my English teacher in high school, a huge thanks even though I thought he was crazy at the time.

Exciting news: I got in a club called E-TEAM, which is all about helping incoming students. We help them feel welcomed and help them get adjusted to Emporia. I also am minoring in Leadership! Which I'm super excited with! I have my first meeting this Friday, November 15th. I will get to learn more about the club and what is to happen in the near future. Speaking of the future...

Addiction: COFFEE. Starbucks coffee. Also, Wal-Mart... here in Emporia, that's all there really is.. so I enjoy going there and buying stuff I really don't need. Also, Pinterest is an addciton of mine and I recently have taken up reading magazines.. It's fun.

Future:
I do not know what to do! I changed from Elementary Education major to a Communications major, but honestly, I am undecided major. Im not sure what I want to do for the rest of my life, but in time God will reveal that to me. Im leaning towards event planning, because I want to plan weddings! It would be a lot of fun. But i'm not sure. I just want to grow up and craft all day and drink Starbucks coffee. I thought about majoring in Photography, but that means I would have to major in art.. and I cannot draw to save my life. So I think I will just keep saving my money and buy a nice camera and take photography classes.

I've also have been becoming more an individual here at college. I really want to live in the City when I'm older, either Seattle or somewhere near Portland or maybe even New York. I really just like the city feel and I love little shops & just having something to do all the time. So yeah.. right after college, that's the plan.. to move! And if those cities cannot happen right away because I will be a broke adult, then I'm definitely moving to Kansas City.

Spiritually:
I have found two girls, Morgan and Shannon, and they love Jesus a lot. We went to church a couple of times and I went to the Christian Challenge. I don't know if I have found what really fits me the best, and I am just having a lot of fun exploring and being open minded to different things. Every church I've been to has been awesome, but I just don't want to limit myself and settle for other people. I know God will provide and lead me in the right direction. I also have just been reminded about how bless I truly was in high school to have such great mentors and friends that keep me grounded all the time and offering accountability all the time.

Well, as you can see.. God is really just providing for me and I am just growing as a person. I can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for me.

Will upload photos later!
