I'm actually doing my blog this Sunday!

This week went by really fast! To start out the week, on Monday, it was Savannah's 19th birthday (AKA mamma sav) and after she finished a hard test, Mikala, Joey, Kate, and I all went to Applebee's for half-price appetizers to celebrate her birth! It was a lot of fun and everyone had the sleepy sillies which made all of us laugh at dumb things.

Not the best picture we've all taken, but that's the only one... and I accidently cut the birthday girl's face out of the picture....

Anywho.. Tuesday morning I got really sick, I skipped my classes for the first time during college  (but its okay because I asked my mom if I could). When all else fails, call mom. I slept the whole day and then I wen to my new member meeting for my sorority later that night.

Wednesday, I was feeling a lot better because I slept all Tuesday and I took some medicine. I went to all my classes, worked, and later that day I got an awesome care package from my aunt and uncle! There was and a cup, magnets, and sticky notes all Chi Omega themed because my aunt was a Chi Omega, and on top of all of that homemade cookies, skittles, and $20! You can say I am so very blessed and loved by such a thoughtful and loving family.

Later that night I went to Zumba with some of my sorority sisters and got a good workout in and then around 10:00p.m. I went to our school's improve, comedy show and that was pretty funny.

Thursday - I went to classes and worked, the norm. Then in the evening, Mikala, Sav, and I went to the café to eat, but while we were waiting on Sav, I met this super cute little boy from Big Brothers, Big Sisters.  His name was Caden and he sat me and mikala down and acted like he was a weatherman because it was horrible weather that night. This story might seem weird and pointless but he melted my heart. He made me want to join that club, so I hope I can get involved in that soon! Also, Thursday night is when me, mikala, and Sav had a heart to heart.. made me love them that much more!

Friday- after school and work, Austin came up to Emporia! We walked down Commercial and went to dinner at this delicious Mexican place and then watched Netflix and talked all night. It was nice to see and spend time with him

Saturday- Falecia picked me and Austin up from Emporia to go to Lawerence. I had never been to Lawerence and it actually quite amazing. I loved the atmosphere and loved all the cute shops. One day I'm just going to up there to shop and explore! Aleah, Falecia, Austin, and I went to this place called the Burger Stand and it was DELICIOUS, but we also waited 45 minutes for a hamburger and fries. Then Aleah took us around campus and KU is HUGE! The campus was beautiful. I also got to spend a little time with Maddie Scheer and that was great, I missed her! I got back to Emporia around 7:00 and did some laundry and watched Safe Haven with this girl on my floor named Marissa.. and that movie was intense.

Sunday- I tried out this new church today called twelfth Baptist church and I loved it.  It was small and intimate and a lot different than my old church, but I liked it a lot. Today, I'm going to do a lot of homework and I'm going to watch a lot of Netflix and be lazy... that's why God made Sundays.. to be lazy.
