What is currently going on:
I just finished up my five-week-long Christmas break... It was different than what I had expected it to be like, but that was just a reminder to me that God is in control, and my plans aren't always what He has in mind. He always knows better. I am going back to Emporia tomorrow, and I just finished packing. Of course, I over packed. It's like I have this weird anxiety disorder with my clothes and I feel like I must bring all clothing items because who knows when I will need the shirt I haven't worn in two years. Anyways, during Christmas break I learned how to knit, I went antique shopping, got to catch up with my lovely friends, babysat, watched movies, and a bunch of other lazy stuff I cant remember. It was nice to be lazy and not have to be busy all the time, but towards the end, I started to get bored and was ready to be back in Emporia. I am excited to get back on a schedule! I love routine. I plan to stay busy this semester and hopefully figuring out a major that best suits me. I am undecided major right now....surprising? no. I am hands down the most indecisive person I know. I really got to work on that. Maybe one day I could just be a photographer and have a bigger blog that I make money off of, but that is still far away. I do have some future plans that are hopefully going to happen this semester. I'm starting to realize that having goals is a good thing; helps stay motivated and on track.
Future Plans:
- I hope to work out everyday. My plan is to workout between the hour break in between classes.
- I hope to wake up an hour before my classes start and let Jesus pour some of His wisdom into my life. Also, I plan to eat breakfast.
- I hope to get a second job, and work weekends.
- I hope to get better at photography and learn more about my camera.
- I hope to do my homework right away and not procrastinate
- I hope to meet more people and keep putting myself out there
- I HOPE TO BLOG WEEKLY.
- I hope to get a summer job aligned, BEFORE summer starts
- I hope to read more and grow spiritually.
- and much more... just haven't thought of it yet.
So here is to the start of 2014.... I am excited to see what this next year has in store for me and the people around me.
Love, Reggs.
